I've read that sharon and Roman liked going to Big Sur to get away. I believe Sharon had been going there long before
she met Roman and I think she hat a photo shoot there in the early sixties but can't remember the photographer

You're very right about that.
From what I understand, Sharon would go up there for a few days at a time when she didn't have to work. It was a peaceful place where she could put on some casual clothes, not wear makeup, and just relax. I get the feeling that she would have purchased a home there, when she got older and decided to dial-down her career.
It was in 1964 when she did a photoshoot there with Walter Chappell. I think they shot it all over the space of one weekend.

I've read that Sharon's favorite place to stay in Big Sur was over at Deetjen's. I wonder if anyone might know if she had a favorite room there?
